(No. 402) A more distant but complete view of the Barquq facade, with its minaret. On the right is another waterpoint-school, this one the Sabil-Kuttab of Isma'il Pasha, a son of Muhammad Ali. In 1822 Ismail had been murdered in the Sudan, which explains this sabil, built by the father in memory of his son.
