Travel to Austria : StilluppTwo reservoirs dam branches of the Ziller. Water from each runs through a powerhouse and then down to a third reservoir. From there, water can be released to a third powerhouse, but at periods of low demand purchased power is used to pump water back to the two upstream reservoirs.
