Notes on the Geography of Great Mirror: Photo 39

world pictures Great Mirror

Saving the best for last, this is the last surviving Greek temple portico in Dunedin. It belonged to the Union Bank, built in 1874. Later photographs show it with the name ANZ Bank across the entablature. It's an Italian Renaissance production from the same Robert Lawson who designed the functional brewery and one of the warehouses we saw a while ago.
