This website contains photographs taken on the run over several decades by a now retired professor of geography at a mid-tier, Midwestern university. He added the captions to help him remember what he had seen and what he was otherwise likely to forget. Some of the captions are almost scholarly; others are blatantly opinionated or merely state the obvious. That's what happens when captions are added over decades.

Corrections, comments, and permission requests may be sent to him directly at sec650@gmail.com
